Fire risk assessments are at the heart of modern health and safety management. They are an important part of keeping your workers and your business safe.

Please Remember, In most cases the provision of fire risk assessments is a legal duty under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This assessment must be documented in writing and reviewed regularly.

Under the order you need a Fire Risk Assessment if:

  • You are an employer with 5 or more staff or are responsible for a business premises

  • You are a licensed premises

  • You are a childminder

  • You are a school

  • You are a charity or voluntary organization

  • You are a landlord or agent of a multiple occupancy property

  • You are responsible for the common access areas in a multiple occupancy property i.e. a small block of flats

  • Even if none of the above apply it is good practice to carry out a fire risk assessment on a regular basis

At Red Fire Safety Services Ltd we can carry out risk assessments either with you and your staff or on your behalf.  We can carry out fire risk assessments on buildings of any size or complexity and make reasoned judgements on the level of risk presented.  We can advise on any non-compliances and advise on whether the risk is tolerable.
